Empowering Through Youth Workshops: Why This Mission Matters

I remember being a kid who was full of energy but had no real direction. I wasn’t the best student, not because I wasn’t smart, but because I couldn’t see where I fit in. School was about tests, rules, and expectations that never seemed to make space for creativity. But the moment I stepped onto a stage for the first time, something clicked. It wasn’t just about pretending to be someone else—it was about finding confidence, learning discipline, and understanding emotions in a way I never had before. Acting gave me the structure I didn’t know I needed. It became the tool that helped me make sense of the world and, more importantly, of myself. Now, I want to pass that gift on. Why These Workshops Matter I know firsthand what it’s like to feel lost—to be searching for something but not knowing what it is. I also know the power of having someone believe in you, of discovering a space where you’re allowed to explore, create, and grow. Because I know that sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity to change everything.
